Mr. Shemilis Adugna, President of the Ethiopian Red Cross Society and Vice President of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies for Africa made a presentation to National Capital Area staff, volunteers and friends December 12 at Chapter headquarters in Fairfax, VA. Middle School's 'Day of Giving' Supports Red Cross Measles Initiative
 

"One dollar can save a dying child suffering from measles in Africa." This thought alone amazed many youngsters at Robert Frost Middle School.

Each year, the Rockville school hosts an annual fundraiser to help area non-profit organizations with various initiatives. For the last three years, the students have chosen the American Red Cross of the National Capital Area as one recipient to receive funds for its Measles Initiative and dubbed November 22 "The Day of Giving."

International Tracing and Holocaust Tracing

American Red Cross tracing or location services are provided to people in the community who have been separated from their relatives (citizens of other countries) as a result of war, civil disturbance, natural disaster, or changing world conditions over which an individual has no control.

International and Holocaust tracing services are strictly confidential and free of charge.
